You should prepare in depth Case Studies to use in Section A of the FM2 exam – 1 major Hollywood Production & 1 Independent and 1 British release (possibly a World Cinema release too) . These will give you plenty of detailed issues to discuss for the exam.

- How do the trailers attract their audience(s)?
- Were the films advertised on TV?
- Were there any merchandising tie-ins?
- Did the classification of the film restrict its audience?
- Were there any other special restrictions placed on the exhibition of the film?
- What critical reviews did the film receive?
- Did the film receive any awards?
- What did the film/s take at the box-office?
- For how long did the film run in the cinema?
